We are currently seeking a qualified Pastrycook to join our growing business, to be considered you must have Australian qualification and the following essential skills:

- Manages all the activities associated with food services.
- Weighs, mixes or kneads, matures, and shapes pastry mixture prior to baking.
- Uses tins and trays to place and remove mixture into ovens.
- Operates and observes baking equipment and temperature for products appearance control.
- Glazes or decorates pastry with icing or cream.
- Procures baking supplies from suppliers.
- Meets health and safety regulations through checking and preserving hygiene of equipments and utensils.
- Provide supervision and direction of work practices.
- Identifies own learning needs and acts to maintain or improve skills to meet job requirements.
- Communicates appropriately with all staff.
- Consistently uses resources and equipment economically and safely.
- Approaches to work and interpersonal relationships.
- Contributes to the development and evaluation of food services with the manager/owner.
- Ensure all goods and supplies are put away in a timely manner on receipt of same.
- Ensures all goods and services are dated with the date of receipt and stock is rotated with previous stock being moved to the front.
