An opportunity to join the permanent team at Cherrybrook OOSH Care has just become available. We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated and passionate part time educator, to join our already fabulous team.

We are seeking to find someone on a long-term basis, someone who wishes to make a career out of OOSH. We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic, responsible, respectful and kind educator with previous experience in the leadership field.

**About The Service**:

- Located in the grounds of Cherrybrook OOSH Care, with a supportive School P&C.
- A not-for-profit community based and purpose-built service, run by a parent committee.
- Medium to large service licensed for 190 children
- A service supportive of paid professional development.
- A service offering above children service award wage and split shift allowance.
- Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

**About The Role**:

- Part time position working both before (7am - 10am) and after school care -(2pm - 6.30pm)
- Vacation Care Hours will be flexible, between (7am - 6.30pm)
- Minimum of 30 hours per week, negotiable, with the opportunity for growth and flexibility with hours/shifts
- Ability to on the floor, building relationships with the parents, children and staff
- Actively supervise and engage with children
- Facilitate intentional and spontaneous experiences that align with the National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place Framework.
- Participate in reflective practices and share your ideas with a team of passionate educators and leaders.

**What You Will Need**:

- Must have knowledge of the 7 Quality Area Standards and the ability to grow the service to be exceeding these standards.
- Excellent Computer Skills, to complete Quality Improvement Plan, update policies and procedures and complete Risk Assessments
- A WWCC and National Police Check or be willing to obtain.
- Hold a current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management (HTAID004) certificate or be willing to obtain.
- Child Protection accredited qualification
- Previous experience in working in Out of School Hours Care preferred
- Previous experience in leadership positions, along with a sound ability to communicate professionally.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends
- Rotating roster
