Intro has partnered with a civil contractor who for the past 40 years has become one of a recognisable name in the Queensland civil infrastructure industry.

We are looking to appoint a
**HSE Advisor/HSE Officer** on a permanent basis who will be responsible for the delivery of a Department of Transport & Main Roads (DTMR) and civil infrastructure projects.

These projects are local to Toowoomba/Darling Downs, South East Queensland regions.

**Position**
Your duties include;
- Management of the safety system and reporting including weekly, monthly, quarterly safety KPI reports.
- Management and monitoring of corrective actions, ensuring corrective actions are monitored so they are managed according to their risk profile and adequately resourced.
- Liaising with regulatory agencies.
- Supporting the implementation of the project's safety strategy and associated actions / programs.
- Identify hazards and incidents, ensuring they are reported on, investigated and closed out in accordance with the IMS requirements.
- Support management and site team members on effective risk controls and all risk assessment processes.
- Provide inductions and other training of new employees and subcontractors.

**Your Qualifications & Experience**
You will need the following;
- Diploma of Occupational Health & Safety - Minimum
- Minimum 3 years experience in HSE Officer or Advisor role
- Previous DTMR project experience
- Proficient Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Construction White Card
