**Support Worker - NDIS Company Harmony House Community Care & Services**

**Location**: Fortitude Valley, Queensland (or within 20 minutes away)

We are a leading NDIS provider seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Fortitude Valley and surrounding areas. If you are passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities and have experience in key areas, we would love to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and assistance to NDIS participants in their homes and community settings.
- Support with bowel care, including enema administration.
- Assist with daily activities, personal hygiene, and mobility.
- Operate hoists safely and assist with transfers.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and respectful relationship with participants.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Must live within the Fortitude Valley area or within a 20-minute commute.
- Must have good time management and communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Experience with hoist training and bowel care, including enema administration.
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card (or willing to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability for a range of hours (flexible).

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
