As a Sessional Tutor in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning, you'll play a vital role in shaping the next generation of industry professionals. You'll have the opportunity to lead engaging tutorials, foster critical thinking, and provide valuable guidance to students. This role offers you the chance to develop your teaching skills, stay at the forefront of architectural concepts, and contribute to a dynamic learning environment.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Conduct Engaging Tutorials: Prepare and lead interactive tutorial sessions, facilitating discussions on reading materials and lecture topics.
- Support Student Learning: Provide guidance on assessment tasks, explain criteria clearly, and offer consultations to support student progress.
- Assess Student Work: Undertake assessment responsibilities, providing constructive feedback to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with Faculty: Attend meetings as required and contribute to the overall teaching program within the faculty.

- Hold relevant qualifications in architecture, building, planning, or a related field.
- Have previous teaching or tutoring experience, particularly in higher education.
- Demonstrate strong organisational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Excel at managing and facilitating informed group discussions.
- Have experience with online learning and teaching approaches, including assessment and student engagement.
