Are you a **Maintenance Operative** with a **Skipper / Coxswain Grade 1 Certificate**?

Ventias - critical infrastructure division are seeking an enthusiastic Skipper / Coxswain to work as a **Maintenance Operative**. This role is based at South Fremantle harbour. This full-time position will see you performing planned and daily maintenance for the Department of Transport infrastructure.

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Feel confident working on and around water
- Have fault finding experience (navigational aids highly regarded)
- Holding a skippers/coxswain ticket will be highly regarded
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
- Must be able to pass a medical including Drug and Alcohol pre-employment test
- First aid certificate
- Have the capability to work in confined spaces and heights
- Hold a current drivers license
- National construction industry white / blue card

**Primary responsibilities include**:

- Skilled to skipper a 2C survey vessel with the maintenance crew
- Repairing and maintaining defective property, plant equipment
- Perform reactive maintenance activities as required
- Maintenance and safekeeping of tools, equipment, plant items, motor vehicles, cranes, boats hired plant items
