**The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Facilities and Grounds Maintenance Co-ordinator to provide a critical role in Dhurringile.**

**About the Business Unit**
- The Corrections and Justice Services (CJS) group, comprising Corrections Victoria (CV), Justice Health and Justice Services, plays an integral role in developing safer and more resilient communities and in delivering a trusted justice and community safety system.
- The former Dhurringile Prison within the Hume Region and located in the Northeast of Victoria, approximately 35 km from Shepparton, has been recently decommissioned. While its future purpose is still being explored, Corrections Victoria remains responsible for the upkeep of the property.

**About the Role**
- The Facilities and Grounds Maintenance Co-ordinator role will maintain relevant grounds and buildings of the site. Duties will include maintenance works such as mowing, pruning, spraying, mulching, watering and green waste removal.
- The Facilities and Ground Maintenance Co-ordinator will be competent in identifying problems and providing solutions through team engagement and will ideally have knowledge and skills in pest control, wide-ranging horticulture techniques and irrigation systems.

**About you**
- Confident and experienced operator of machinery, tools and equipment used for building and grounds maintenance.
- Experience with Forklift and EWP (Elevated Work Platforms) is desirable.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Proven experience in building and/or grounds maintenance with the ability to perform varied building maintenance repairs, general and reactive maintenance tasks.

**Qualifications/requirements**
- **A current Victorian Driver's License.
- Forklift License and or Elevated Work Platform (EPP) is highly desirable.
