As a Fitter at SLH Group, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of workshop equipment. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that our clients receive the highest standard of service. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, and repair workshop equipment such as lifts, compressors, and alignment machines.
- Diagnose faults and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
- Interpret technical drawings and manuals to understand equipment specifications.
- Collaborate with clients to provide effective solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role.
- Relevant trade qualifications in fitting, machining, or mechanical engineering.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in the automotive or industrial sectors.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Forklift license.
