Bay & Basin Community Resources (BBCR) is a trusted not for profit provider of in home and community aged care and disability support services in the Shoalhaven. Due to an increase in demand for our services, we have a number of opportunities for additional Support Workers to join our team to provide assistance and support to older people and people with disability.

Positions are based in the Ulladulla and surrounding area so willingness and ability to travel within this region is required.

**Description**:
**This Role**:
This role may involve supporting people in their own homes, within their communities, and for individual and group activities at our community and respite facilities. Services may include:

- Respite and social support, encouraging special interests and providing companionship
- Community Access to events, activities, services, or appointments
- Personal care such as assisting with showering, other personal support and providing medication assistance
- Domestic assistance, such as basic housekeeping
- Shopping and meal preparation

**Applicants must hold (or obtain through recruitment process)**:

- Australian Federal Police clearance (no disclosable outcomes)
- First Aid Certificate + CPR
- Certificate III Individual Support Ageing, Disability or Home and Community Care (or equivalent qualification) - Completed, in progress or willing to commence
- Drivers Licence, with safe driving record
- Current car registration & comprehensive insurance
- Working with Children Check Clearance and relevant NDIS worker screening
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19

**Hours and Shifts Available**:
BBCR is a family friendly and flexible employer with a wide variety of shifts available. Preferably you will be available over a minimum of 3 days per week and up to 5 days. We have a variety of shifts to suit your personal circumstances and client demand. Mornings, afternoons, full day, part day, weekends, evenings - you name it, we have it We do ask for a minimum of 2 weeks notice if you need to change your availability in order to provide continuity of care for our clients.
