Cobram Estate Olives Limited (CBO) is searching for an energetic and enthusiastic Assistant Brand Manager with a genuine interest and desire to work in Marketing. This role will be in charge of implementing the strategic plan for CBO’s rapidly growing sustainable brands Red Island, Wellgrove and Stone & Grove. This role is diverse including creative development of packaging, comms and shopper marketing, the development and management of the social media platforms, and collaborating with the wider team to manage relationships with ambassadors.

Our brand strength extends from our position as Australia’s largest vertically integrated olive oil producer. We own over 2.4 million olive trees planted on 6,584 hectares of farmland in central and north-west Victoria, together with Australia’s largest olive tree nursery, two olive mills, an olive oil bottling, storage, and the Modern Olives laboratory.
Following several years of research, we identified an opportunity to replicate our unique olive growing, olive milling, and marketing model in the USA. We have also made the achievement of a sustainable “zero waste” farming operation and the maximisation of the value of all its farming outputs one of our fundamental pillars. As part of this initiative, in 2017 the Company established its Wellness division which is responsible for the research, development and sale of products leftover from olive oil production. This is a core part of our strategy to continually improve the sustainability of our farming operations and minimise waste.

**The Role**
The role will be based at CBO’s office in Southbank, with flexibility to work remotely a few days a week. Responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following activities:
- Support the development and implementation of plans to support strategic vision of the Red Island, Wellgrove and Stone & Grove brands
- Coordinate the creative development of packaging, communications and shopper marketing
- Support media plans, rollout and analysis - including reviewing collateral & co-ordinating regulatory reviews
- Work with SBM and cross functional team to scope and develop new products (NPD) and optimise existing products (EPD)
- Develop and drive the digital/social media plan to support the brand strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams and agencies to plan, brief and execute the digital/social activity calendar, coordinate promotions and manage our online communities
- Management of the branded websites including uploading of new products, collating monthly e-commerce reports and optimising content for improved SEO results
- Co-ordinate GS1 and retailer ecommerce requirements for Red Island
- Collaborate with wider team to manage relationships with partners/ambassadors, including planning and execution of partner/ambassador content on our channels and vice versa
**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business or similar discipline
- Proven experience in a Marketing role (minimum 1 year) - full-time, part-time or internship acceptable
- Commercially astute professional with a positive attitude and willingness to perform a variety of duties
- Knowledge of the digital ecosystem including social media, edms, and websites (experience with Shopify, Meta, Klaviyo ideal but not critical). Willingness and eagerness to learn - we will support you with training where required

- Fast learner with a curious nature
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people both internal and external
