**About the Role**

This is a key leadership and management role that is accountable for efficient and effective management of all human and material resources within Clinical Services. The role encompasses planning implementing and evaluating practices, processes and services within the Hospital. This requires working with and supporting other managers in achieving excellence in care delivery in line with best practice and legislative requirements.

**About You**
- Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (Registered Nurse)
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and extensive clinical skills and experience
- Sound understanding of contemporary Human Resources Management practices
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and material resources
- Ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate a continuous improvement program
- Ability to act as an effective role model in the area of clinical practice
- Ability to lead and motivate others

**_Desirable_**
- Post graduate qualifications in a clinical speciality area
- Post graduate qualifications in Health Administration and/or Management
- Previous experience in a management position
- Sound Computer skills in MS Office programs (Word, Excel & Outlook)

**About the Hospital**

Waverley Private Hospital is a 98 bed acute/surgical facility located in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. Waverley Private Hospital has been an active contributor to the healthcare needs of the local communities of Eastern and South Eastern Melbourne since 1972. We pride ourselves on providing excellent standards of healthcare in a friendly and caring environment.

Our hospital surgical/medical ward features only private rooms each with their own ensuites. In maternity, all our patients are provided with a private room with the option for partners to stay. All our private rooms have flat screen TV’s, Foxtel and Wi-Fi access.

At Waverley Private Hospital we have seven operating theatres including a Day Procedure Unit. All departments are staffed by experienced and skilled health care professionals, who are familiar with the latest developments and research in their respective fields. Our staff are dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to patients.

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19** a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- Must provide a **National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children **check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases.
