**About this role**
With your skills and experience, you can contribute to the millions of ways we’re enhancing health and wellness while developing your career as part of the largest health organisation in Australia.

You will lead and manage the Analytics Assist team in the Centre for Epidemiology and Evidence. In this role you will have the opportunity to interact with a large variety of business units across NSW Health. Your team’s goal is to streamline access to data and analytics services, coordinate data and analytics requests, improve data governance processes for research and support the development of data skills in NSW Health staff.

Crown Clerk 11/12, starting salary from $139,787- $161,663 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

**What you'll be doing**
Managing a small team to:

- Develop and maintain a single point of contact for assistance with finding data, expertise and commissioning analytics services.
- Improve and maintain internal and external web portals and resources for increasing data literacy and providing guidance on available data.
- Coordinate and undertake data governance reviews of data access requests from external researchers.

**About you**
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

- Demonstrated ability to take a system-wide, client-services driven approach to accessing information.
- Demonstrated experience in leading or supporting complex analysis to improve health outcomes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience, and expert knowledge in analytics, epidemiology and/or biostatistics.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- A growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
- The ability to work in a small dynamic team environment.
