Looking for a part-time Property Assistant to work alongside a senior Commercial Property Manager

**Your new company**

Hays Hobart are currently working with a Commercial Property company who have an exciting opportunity for a Property Assistant to join their team in the Hobart CBD on a permanent part-time basis 3-4 days a week.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Commercial Property Manager, you’ll assist them to oversee the end-to-end management of an existing commercial portfolio. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;
- Budget reporting and preparation.
- Arrears monitoring and recovery.
- Outgoings calculations and allocations.
- Lease administration including rent reviews, options and lease expiry.
- OHS compliance for properties including fire evacuation procedures.
- Insurance renewals and compliance.
- Contractor administration for repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Inspections of properties to ensure tenant and landlord compliance with lease conditions.
- Other adhoc administration duties as required

**What you'll need to succeed**

You’ll have experience in a similar role, hold a current Property Management and driver’s license. You’ll also;
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing a high level of customer service and be effective in establishing relationships
- Highly organised, accurate and have a high level of attention to detail
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Accurate data entry and work processing skills
- Problem solving and negotiating skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
