A newly created opportunity exists for a CAD operator who is willing to learn and be part of a high performing Property team on a 12-month contract. Reporting to the Store Design Planner, you will be assisting in updating existing AutoCAD plans to support the planning and execution of fit-out projects across Australia. We have a solid pipeline of projects waiting to be delivered.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Update relevant existing AutoCAD drawings in line with Merchandise Department input, to create various plans for our onsite teams
- Work proactively with Project Managers to ensure that project plans are completed and issued to store prior to project commencement
- Strategic layout planning, ensuring the best scheme is developed for all project types, with both a commercial and customer lens
- Assist the Design Planner to maintain and update our growing CAD database
- Administration support including document control to support the projects
- Other general drafting office duties as required.

**Experience Required**:

- Architecture Drafting or Design Qualification in 2D AutoCad (experience preferred but not essential)
- Strong computer and Microsoft office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team
- Good time management, planning and organisational abilities
- Able to complete tasks to a high standard
- Ability to build relationships
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
