Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs and Marketing, our Communications Coordinator, will be part of a growing best in class shareholder engagement, marketing and corporate communications team.

Key responsibilities

This full time position offers an excellent opportunity for a creative and organised individual to contribute to the growth of our shareholder engagement and corporate communications function.
- Writing and editing: write and edit content to showcase and raise Wilson Asset Management and the investment team’s profile and expertise to key stakeholders.
- Reporting communications: Assist in preparing regular corporate communications including media releases, monthly NTA documents, annual and interim reports.
- Marketing and communications materials: Assist in the development of marketing collateral, including presentations, brochures, newsletters, and presentations.
- Administrative Tasks and General Support: Handle day-to-day administrative tasks related to marketing activities including maintaining marketing databases such as Pardot lists and the CRM.
- Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of events, webinars, and conferences. Help with logistics and support the communications efforts.
- Market Research: Help with identifying and reporting to the team on competitor activities to support marketing strategies and decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Communications and Marketing teams and cross-functional divisions to gather information, provide support, and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.

- Assist in providing a leading market practice shareholder experience, including engaging on a personal level with shareholders when opportunities arise.

Qualities and skills
- 1-2 years of previous experience. Ideally financial markets, investment banking or journalism.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce or Law.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with digital marketing tools.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinking and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- An active interest in investing in the share market.
