Our Outside School Hours Care service, **Redbank State School** Helping Hands,** is looking for a passionate **Assistant Coordinator** to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering **22 hours per week** (guaranteed minimum) to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators.
You will work across split shifts to support the service’s operating hours of Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 8:45am (Rise then Shine Program) and 3:00pm - 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too
**About the role**
Co-managing a team of Educators, you'll have the perfect balance of support and leadership opportunities. You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years, with the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
- Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into
- Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
- Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

- Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children

**Qualifications**
Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
