Supply Chain Analyst

Hilal Meat Products Company Pty Ltd is part of the Dabbagh Group, a diversified food and agri-business exporting Australian beef, lamb and mutton, feed and fiber primarily to the Middle East. We operate in meat trading, cold storage warehousing, sheepskins, and meat processing. The company is currently expanding its business operations and acquiring new businesses in diversified fields.

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing, optimizing, and managing our operations. Based at our abattoir in Echuca, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient flow of goods, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance. Your insights will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and maintain our competitive edge in the market.

**About you**:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Supply Chain roles.
- Extensive experience working in the Meat industry is essential.
- literacy in Arabic business trade documentation and oral liaison with Arabic speaking trading entities.
- Extensive knowledge of the Middle Eastern meat markets and related markets.
- Have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Must have a clear understanding of international trade import-export documentation, supply chain processes including use of SYSCOB.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and limited resources and able to make independent decisions and drive them effectively.
- Set high work standards and monitor compliance.
- Uncompromising professional integrity and personal values/character.
- Experience working in companies that have different entities or multi sphere of operations/activities.

**Duties**:

- Collect and analyse data to identify areas for improvement and optimize operational efficiencies
- Conduct inventory analysis, prepare comprehensive reports to monitor stock levels and identify discrepancies, and ensure optimal inventory management
- Prepare and recommend proposals to revise methods and procedures, alter workflows, redefine job functions, to support organizational innovation and improvements
- Assess supply chain risks by developing strategies and contingency plans to resolve challenges and minimize disruptions
- Assist in implementing approved recommendations to supply chain teams
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, particularly in the meat trade sector.
- Support the implementation of new technologies or systems to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
