In Melbourne, Our client stands as one of the signage companies with the longest operational history.

As a result of their expansion and progress, this company is currently seeking a Storeperson who possesses forklift expertise.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain factory and yard to ensure it remains in a clean, safe and orderly state
at all times
- Monitor stock levels and future commercial and real estate requirements,
making purchases when stock is required
- Monitor all inwards and outwards materials/goods and ensure incoming stock
is checked, signed off and put into appropriate areas or racking
- Assist in maintaining and promoting a safe and healthy workplace through
active oversight of the factory, warehouse and yard environment, removing
safety hazards where necessary, and actively communicating and reporting of
potential safety issues to the Manufacturing Manager.
- Package, label and organise storage of commercial returns as per instructions
from Commercial Project Managers
- Remain up to date on company policies and procedures, and actively
participate in 'toolbox' meetings run by the Manufacturing Manager
- Perform forklift duties as required
- Be available to work flexibly and work extra hours as required
- Lend assistance to production department if and when available or required
- Communicate any issues, problems and concerns to the Manufacturing
Manager or other senior managers

**Skills and attributes**:

- Ability to work as directed and unsupervised
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of technical processes and appropriate goods/materials that are
required
- Proactivity
- Attention to detail
- Current forklift licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
