**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- **Minimum of 2 years solid experience in polywelding on mine / construction sites.**:

- A valid certificate in Polywelding from an accredited institution.
- Experience using a variety of Polywelding equipment and procedures (Mcelroy -T618, T500, T900 and/or Dixon welder)
- HR and Australian manual driver's licence
- Valid Operating Tickets (White Card, Loader, Excavator, Chainsaw, Forklift Ticket)

**Key duties of this role includes**:

- Operation of equipment to the Company and client expectations of cleanliness, preparedness and organisation.
- Participation and delivery of site and workshop tasks/works as directed by Supervision/management
- Maintain Company equipment to Company, Client and manufacturers requirements.
- Inspect the Company equipment on a daily basis using the UON standard checklists, reporting any incidents, issues and/or maintenance requirements to supervision/management.
- Maintain safe work practices at all times.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
- Reading and understanding PNID’s.
- Welding a range of pipe diameter ranging from DN63 - DN900.
- Conduct flushing and hydrostatic testing.
- Conduct commissioning on all mechanical components on pipelines.
- Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
