**Company Description**
Welcome to This Australian Life.
From the millions of Australians we protect, to those that make it happen every day at TAL, people really are what we’re all about. We want to grow with you. Achieve with you. And support you to do your best work. That's why we're focused on developing leadership, promoting diversity, rewarding excellence, and retaining great talent.
We're always looking for people who want to go further with us. People who do what’s right, aim high, and work smart. Why not discover where we can go?
As the Manager, Strategic Communications, you’ll lead the TAL Claims Communication Strategy, supporting internal and external stakeholders, including the Chief Claims Officer. You’ll be the main contact for all change communications in the Claims Business Unit and collaborate with TAL’s brand and communications teams.
You’ll create targeted messages and a Marketing, Communications & Events (MCE) plan aligned with TAL’s broader strategy. Your storytelling skills will simplify complex concepts and drive engagement. You’ll also support tender communications and key initiatives.
If you’re a compelling communicator with a financial services background, this role is for you.
**You will**:
- Lead content and tender communications, create a messaging library, and manage change communications for the Claims team.
- Develop content strategies aligned with Claims initiatives, change activities, and engagement.
- Deliver on-brand content across all channels, ensuring consistency in style, tone, and quality.
- Build relationships with internal teams and external partners to align messaging with business goals.
- Set clear objectives, monitor content effectiveness, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in financial services, insurance, or superannuation, with strong B2B/B2B2C marketing and communications skills.
- Ability to think strategically, execute detailed plans, and manage complex products and stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
- Highly organised, with strong stakeholder management, agency, and media house experience.
- Extensive proven experience in marketing/communications, tertiary qualifications in relevant fields, and proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint).
You’re always accountable for your actions. You never give up. You strive to find the best outcomes for customers and partners. And you value working together to find the best solutions for problems.
As part of the recruitment process, there are a number of checks which may be conducted to demonstrate your eligibility for a role at TAL including Criminal History, Bankruptcy, Entitlement to Work, Regulatory and Reference Checks.
**Additional Information**
To provide you with the best experience, we can accommodate you at any stage of the recruitment process. Simply inform our Recruitment team at any time.
