**What will you do in an average week?**
To support the development of the merchandise strategy through forecasting and analysing categories and articles. More specifically this will see you:
- Develop, execute and communicate strategic merchandise financial plans that support the company's financial, product and marketing objectives
- Translate Category plans into financial plans; sales, margin and inventory investment.
- Be responsible for developing a reporting top line financial plans and forecasts at Category to class/season level.
- Support Category level actions to maximize sales and margin, manage margin risk and optimizing inventory investment in assortments through analysis and recommendation.
- Develop and contribute to the development of company initiatives and ensures that all planning activities support annual goals.

- **Proven success as a Merchandise Planner**:You are an outcome oriented go getter. Junior Planners who are ready to step up will also be considered
- You are **highly commercial** and are driven by achieving financial results
- You thrive on working in a relatively unstructured environment and **adding value through improving processes** and tools
- An innate ability to understand where stock levels are at, so that you can push and pull stock depending on demand
- A strong capability to put together a financial plan for respective categories
- Experience in effectively managing inventory through its life cycle across all channels including catalogues, store changes, new store openings, deletions and any additions of new lines
- Experience developing strategic relationships with suppliers, where your inside knowledge keeps you one step ahead
- An absolute passion for personal development and desire to readily acquire new skills and challenge the status quo.
