**About Dental Drill Solutions (DDS)**

DDS is an Australian, family-owned business specialising in the niche market of repairing, maintaining and through its in-house subsidiary, Handpiece Traders, sales of dental handpieces and associated equipment to the dental industry across Australia and New Zealand.

**About the role**

Operating from our offices at Kings Park (western Sydney), Monday to Friday 9.00am - 4.30pm, Fridays finish at 4pm (37 hours per week), key responsibilities include:

- This role would ideally suit applicants with a minimum of 3-years technical/mechanical experience from within the dentistry, lab technician, medical or precision instrument industries.
- Have some experience in using high-tech test equipment
- Key duties include:
~ repairing low and high-speed dental handpieces
~ evaluating and then providing sales staff with repair cost estimates
~ having a patient and methodical approach to problem solving
~ having either a full motorbike or car licence to be able to contribute towards pick
- ups and returns of jobs to Sydney Metro clients. A delivery car will be provided.
- Full on-the-job training will be provided but any dental industry or engineering knowledge would be advantageous.
- DDS have developed a bespoke, internal and customer facing computer software platform to assist in spare parts ordering management, recording customer hand piece repair history and more. This necessitates the successful applicant will be technical savvy across multiple IT platforms.
- When required, provide courteous problem-solving customer service to clients in person.
- Assisting the owners and your colleagues in creating a fun, yet disciplined work environment and culture.
- This position is available for an immediate start.

**About You**
- For convenience of access to the office, you may well reside in the Western Sydney/Hills area, but not essential.
- Have intermediate/senior level Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
- Will have appropriate technical experience with a passion to grow these skills.
- Will be able to display a savvy commercial approach to the technical side of the business.
- Have a full driving licence.
- Be able to display excellent verbal and written English skills.
- You will be an Australian Citizen or lawful resident within Australia.
- This role is not suitable for anyone currently studying.
- You will have a sense of humour.
- You will have a genuine “like” for people that will be evident in the way you interact with colleagues and clients alike.
