CNC Operator

We are seeking a CNC Operator to join the team in Burleigh Heads. You will have the opportunity to become an integral part of our team.

**Key areas of responsibility include**:

- Maintain harmonious and cooperative workplace relations with all team members, suppliers and partners.

- Help build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
- Continuously gain knowledge of and keep up to date with new products and industry best practice.
- Complete each assigned task with a high level of accuracy and diligence.
- Operation and machining of complex parts and jigs by programming and operating machinery including CNC router, waterjet, laser, automated and manually operated manufacturing machinery.
- Proactively conducting and documenting quality checks at control points.
- Ensure all machinery, equipment and tools are maintained and stored in a safe and secure manner.
- Assist the CNC Supervisor in the planning of work orders and manufacturing activity to maximise output efficiency.
- Undertake and assist the team with future training for new software and technologies.
- Assist in commissioning and setup new machines with associated processes when installed.
- Unloading and loading of materials between warehouse locations and on/off machinery.
- Commitment to OH&S practices and standard across the entire organisation and team.
- Maintain and continuously develop company records in line with best practice protocols.
- Maintain a neat and tidy workspace and environment at all times.

Applicants will ideally possess, have knowledge in and demonstrable experience with:

- A positive attitude with a willingness to continuously learn new skills.
- The desire and ability to continue driving best practice manufacturing techniques.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in CNC operation.
- Closed cell ethylene acetate copolymer and polyurethane products.
- Australian Citizenship or permanent residency.
- An ability to stay ahead of manufacturing and technology trends.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- Capacity to handle challenging, rapidly changing environment.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burleigh Heads, QLD 4220: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
