AAS Employees Pty Ltd ATF, the AAS Employees Trust, is a member of Gosford Quarries Group, which is Australia’s leading sandstone producer and is widely recognised for its expertise in all areas of quarrying, processing and supply in the residential, commercial building, civil and restoration markets.

**The Role**

Reporting to Production Manager, the Stonemason is responsible for cutting, shaping sandstones to create artistic structures such as monuments, tombstones, and statues, working with specialised machinery, motorised hand machinery and/or hand tools.

The role is newly created position due to the business growth. This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly driven and talented individual to develop and diversify their skills.

**Key Responsibilities Include**
- Cutting, Shaping and Dressing of sandstone to required dimensions;
- Follow design instructions to carve and shape stone;
- Study plans and other specifications - where necessary;
- Handling sandstone with care-including loading /unloading;
- Maintain Quality Control and Packaging stone securely;
- Keeping surrounds clean;
- Show interest in learning new skills and have input on ways to improve efficiencies;
- Be physically fit

**To be considered for this role, you must have**
- Relevant qualification
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- An interest in finding solutions and solving problems
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
