**The Company**
Our client is one of Australia’s leading agribusiness brands, with extensive domestic manufacturing facilities. They have built a vision based on long term, sustainable success for farmers and their product is highly regarded within the agricultural sector. They operate a number of strategically located facilities, and from their central head office manage all related raw material procurement.

**The Role**
Working closely with a developed team and supportive management structure, you will be responsible for the management of grain contracts and commodity procurement, with direction and support to purchase the required raw materials to ensure ongoing production across all facilities. You will be directed regarding approved suppliers and pricing elements to successful negotiate and purchase products, and then be responsible for handling all relevant documentation, contract management and contract oversight.

In this role you will:

- Manage commodity contracts, from execution to payment and conclusion
- Manage internal grain inventory levels at each site tracking raw material inventory, usage and forecast requirements
- Execute Grain Movement Orders
- Manage and track all contract draw downs and grain storage handling facilities
- Maintain relationships with grain trade suppliers and develop new business where possible Evaluate and recommend suppliers/vendors
- Provide market information relating to position and product quality relevant to raw materials to ensure wider team is across market trends and information.

To be successful, you will have a close affinity to the Australian commodities sector, ideally relevant tertiary qualifications in an agricultural or economics degree as well as knowledge of grain contract and supply chain systems. You ideally will have some level of experience in contract management and date entry, with a high level of communication and attention to detail.
