Learning Services Teacher

Are you passionate about supporting diverse learners and making a real difference in their educational journey? We are seeking dedicated and skilled Junior and Senior School Learning Services Teachers to join our team on a full-time, ongoing basis, commencing at the start of the 2026 school year.

In each role, you will deliver effective, tailored teaching, learning, and support programs across multiple year levels. You will work closely with students requiring additional learning support, designing and coordinating individualised programs to meet a wide range of learning needs. Your work will span whole-class settings, small groups, and one-on-one support.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide classroom and individual student support under teacher guidance, including assistance with personal care and mobility when needed.
- Assist in planning, preparing, and implementing daily educational programs and classroom environments.
- Support and supervise small groups and whole-class activities, contributing ideas to enhance learning programs.
- Monitor and report student progress to teachers, maintaining confidentiality and fostering effective communication with families.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and Student Support Group (SSG) meetings as required.
- Uphold school policies, promote a safe and nurturing environment, and actively engage in the wider school community and events.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Be a qualified and currently registered teacher (VIT registration) and be able to demonstrate suitable tertiary qualifications in teaching and their methods and an accredited qualification in special education or relevant field
- Have demonstrated experience working with students in schools with ASD, ADHD, Specific Learning Disabilities and other identified learning needs
- MACQLIT literacy intervention training and or a Maths intervention would be beneficial
- Have experience with programs for gifted students, this is an advantage
- Anaphylaxis Management training
- Level II First Aid Certificate is well regarded
- National Police History Check (Obtained within the last 6 months)
