**We are looking for an experienced dental assistant to help out over the busy Christmas period.**

**Care Dental Clinic **is a small family-run dental practice, that provides quality, personal care in the Lower North Shore. Situated on the vibrant Willoughby Road shopping area, walking distance from St Leonards Station. We are seeking a motivated and self-directed Dental Assistant for approximately 2 days per week, with the possibility of ramping up hours in the new year.

At least 12 months experience, a great attitude, good communication skills and strong work ethic essential. You will be working directly with the principle dentist.
- Professional manner and self-presentation
- Organisational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently/unsupervised.
- Computer literacy - experience with Oasis customer relationship system a bonus.
- Previous dental experience

- Providing chair-side assistance (e.g. handing equipment to dentists, spraying and suction)
- Taking records, impressions, or x-rays
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed (e.g. billing, maintaining patient records)
- Routinely maintaining and sterilising equipment
