The MyFirstGym Mission is to help children live a healthier and more active lifestyle, to combat the ongoing increase in child obesity. With 9 out of 10 children not getting the recommended amount of movement each day, we're having a positive impact by making fitness fun and exciting for members.

We made it our mission to supply a one stop fitness shop for busy parents with children from as young as 7 months through to 13 years of age. At the heart of our brand is inspiring movement and we do this by creating magic moments in our clubs that make a difference to the lives of all of our parents and their members.

Our development programs are designed to improve children's physical literacy, while our specialty programs are designed to focus on specific sports. Our specialty programs include Martial Arts, Ninja Warrior, Yoga, Dance, Gymnastics, Cheer, Parkour, Ball Sports and MFG Fit.

**About the role**

The role of a MyFirstGym Coach is to inspire children to love movement and fitness and help them to progress from class to class. MyFirstGym Coaches are not just coaches, they are mentors, friends and role models who are passionate about working with children.

We are seeking a number of coaches to assist with the following classes..
- Party Staff
- Ninja Warrior
- Parkour
- Ball sports
- Fitness Coach
- Junior/Baby Development Classes

We have classes across our timetable morning and afternoon, 7 days per week. Our coaches also assist with events and birthday parties.

**Skills and experience**
- Experience working with children
- Hold a current working with children's check
- First Aid Certificate (ideal but not essential)
- Current certification in area of expertise eg. gymnastics Certification
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience creating programs and class layouts
