**The Opportunity**
TAFE NSW is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced **Technical Assistant in Visual Arts & Ceramics **to join our team at our St George & Gymea campuses on a 12-month temporary part-time basis.
The Technical Assistant Visual Arts & Ceramics is responsible for providing class servicing and high-level technical advice to the Creative Industries sections. This position provides on and off class support in the learning environment and is responsible for class preparation, storing and monitoring supplies.

**We'd love to hear from you if you have**:
- Qualifications in Visual Arts / Ceramics or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience through industry practice
- Ceramics kiln firing experience; electric and gas
- Demonstrated experience in inventory and stock control
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member or with limited supervision
- Awareness of workplace practices to ensure safety
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and students
- Good organisational skills
