Ambient Health Care is a growing team of passionate **speech pathologists and dietitians** with over 12 years of combined experience. We are committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based therapy across Southwest and Inner West Sydney. Our goal is to empower clients to achieve their **communication, swallowing, and nutrition goals** in a supportive, client-centered environment.We are expanding and looking for a **motivated and dedicated Allied Health Assistant (AHA)** to join our team and help support clients under the guidance of a Speech Pathologist.

**About the Role**

As an **Allied Health Assistant (AHA)**, you will work alongside our senior Speech Pathologists to deliver therapy programs, assist with assessments, and support clients in their homes, schools, or community settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone studying speech pathology, an experienced AHA, or a professional looking to gain hands-on experience in the field.

**Your responsibilities will include**:
✔ Implementing therapy programs designed by a Speech Pathologist
✔ Supporting clients with communication, language, and swallowing needs
✔ Assisting in preparing therapy materials and resources
✔ Providing feedback to the supervising Speech Pathologist on client progress
✔ Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining client records
✔ Liaising with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure client needs are met

**What We’re Looking For**

✔ **Currently studying Speech Pathology** - **3rd year Bachelor student** or **2nd year Master's student**, _or_ holds a **Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance**
✔ Experience working with clients in a therapy or support role is **highly desirable**
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Compassionate, patient, and client-focused approach
✔ Ability to work independently and follow therapy plans
✔ Current **Working With Children Check (WWCC)** and **Police Check** (or willingness to obtain)
✔ **Driver’s license and reliable transport** (as this is a community-based role)
