**About us**:
Carehaven is an Australian disability, community and healthcare services provider that operates in the ACT, NSW and Victoria. Our goal is to provide client-centred healthcare and support services for individuals or organisations that require them. To help us achieve this goal, we are currently seeking personal carers (x4) in Mirboo North who will support the Home Manager and peers in delivering high quality resident care within the home. If you are a professional individual that is willing to be challenged and demonstrate a high standard of care, this is the role for you

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide our residents with assistance as they accomplish daily tasks, including bathing, eating, dressing, grooming and using the restroom
- Maintain all care records in accordance with company policy and audit care records weekly to ensure accuracy
- Communicate any problems, concerns or issues to residents’ family members as needed
- Ensure all patients take medications as directed by health care providers
- Build rapport with residents by establishing personal connections by caring and showing interest in their lives
- Respond to any safety or medical issues

Minimum Requirements
- Must be willing to travel
- Cert III or IV in Individual (Aged Care) support
- Police Check or be willing to have a police check
- Provide 2 contactable professional referees.

Supplementary Pay:

COVID-19 considerations:
All carers will need to be vaccinated(3 doses) and have a flu shot.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mirboo North VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Aged care: 1 year (required)

- Australia (required)
