**Who we’re looking for**

We are seeking a full-time team leader who will provide coaching, guidance and mentoring to a team of Support Coordinators.

Support Coordinators assist customers to effectively utilise the supports funded in their NDIS plan. The Team Leader of Support Coordination leads the team in ensuring that the function meets its operational and strategic goals within the NDIS regulatory frameworks and relevant legislation.

**About you**

The successful applicant will have:

- Qualifications in Human Services or Social Sciences, or equivalent
- Sound disability (or allied health/welfare/education) experience
- Experience in coordinating the provision of person centered supports to people with a disability and their families
- Previous experience in leading a team which is transforming what they do and how they do it, this includes planning, executing, and reinforcing change
- Experience in shaping a team culture which is high performing and stakeholder centric, this includes creating an environment which empowers and engages the team
- Ability to lead a team, driven for results and a level of commercial/business savviness
- Commitment to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal stakeholders, and utilises insights to enhance service delivery
- Experience working in complex relationships, whilst having an ability to influence others
- Experience and knowledge pertaining to:

- Coordinating the provision of person centered supports to people with a disability and their families
- The delivery of contemporary human services practices in relation to people with challenging behaviours and complex support needs
- High level interpersonal skills and experience supporting people in situations of high emotions
- Written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team, Area Manager, and other stakeholders
- Problem solving skills to successfully identify problems, develop solutions, and implement these using a logical and systematic approach

**About the role**

Requirements/duties may include, but not limited to, the following:

- Work closely with customers to identify and engage the range of services necessary for them to meet their goals.
- Demonstrate extensive consideration of and access to services, outside of Multicap.
- Provide support to individuals, family members and other stakeholders to ensure that planning processes are fully consultative and responsive to views and aspirations of key decision makers.
- Develop and maintain mutually beneficial working relationships with staff, internal groups, and external bodies to establish viable

interactive partnerships.
- Oversee team member’s performance as per operational priorities
- Develop and present progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, presentations and other documentation as required, to support the successful delivery of our strategic objectives
- Develop the team through day-to-day coaching, check-ins, development opportunities, and mentoring opportunities.
- Lead the shaping of our culture to be a high performing team which is customer centric. Ensure that members of the team deliver on their individual performance goals. Does not tolerate poor performance and takes appropriate action if poor performance is identified.
- Provide advice guidance and support to staff teams to ensure that individuals, particularly those with complex needs have plans that are effective, current, and reviewed appropriately.
- Support the work of the organisation through internal monitoring and audit processes to develop and maintain on-going best practice and ensure that the organisation maintains external accreditation as required.
- Provide reports as required and where funded to both the NDIA and customer.
- Deliver services to customers which effectively, responsibly, and transparently, utilises personal funding.
- Meet individual performance KPI’s regarding revenue generation in regard to weekly and monthly billed hours.
