**The Role**
Venita is currently recruiting for a Courier Driver to carry out operations as assigned including managing client relationships, safety, environmental, productivity, quality and progress to achieve contract performance.
This role will see you based at the Keswick Barracks in a fixed-term 6-month contract, on fulltime hours.
**Responsibilities will include, but not limited to**:

- Carry out Base Mail delivery activities in accordance with the relevant regional data packs and the SOW.
- Ensure all documentation is maintained and accurate at all times.
- Supervise the loading and unloading of mail.
- Responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of base mail and its security whilst in transit.
- Identify maintenance requirements on vehicles and complete appropriate documentation.
- Assist with accommodation, cleaning and housekeeping tasking.
- Perform other duties as required by the Operations Manager within your level of skills and competence.

**Role Requirements**:

- Australian Drivers Licence. (required)
- A thorough knowledge of Mail handling protocols.
- Previous experience as a Courier. (Highly regarded)
- First-Aid Certificate.
- Well-developed computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance up to the level of Negative Vetting Level 1.
As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen.
