**About genU and our Village**:
genU Community, Residential and Pathways is a division of genU which provides a range of services and supports people who are retiring, for people who have a disability and people who are aging. This includes Shared and Respite Living, Supported Residential Services (SRS), Retirement Living, Social Housing and all in home and other individual supports for clients of genU.
St Laurence Park, set on 42 acres, offers a wide range of community programs and facilities to our clients. The village offers a wide range of older and newer accommodations, with 100 self-contained homes and various living options to suit varying financial situations.
**About the role**
The Village Manager role is for a talented, motivational leader passionate about working with seniors and providing excellent management of the St Laurence retirement village across all areas, including personnel, property, financial management and technology. Using your leadership, communication and organizational skills, the Village Manager will work towards building an open and transparent relationship with residents by providing an exceptional retirement experience. Your leadership and sound business skills will ensure that St Laurence Park operates efficiently and to the highest of standards to meet the daily needs of the residents and the owner of the village.
**Your responsibilities will include but not limited to**:
- Conduct all aspects of village management operations;
- Maintain accurate and detailed project and resident files in accordance with organization and legislative requirements;
- Provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all residents;
- Take initiative to ensure that interactions with residents are positive and productive;
- Ensure all statutory resident meetings (including General Meetings are held in accordance with the Retirement Villages Act);
- Preparing Sale and Marketing of Vacancies within the Village.
**About You**
To be successful in this role, it is a requirement that you have:
- Relevant qualifications in Sales, Marketing or Business;
- 5 years' experience (minimum) in admin, sales or marketing in resident care management;
- Experience in project management;
- Strong focused and collaborative leadership capability;
- NDIS Worker Screening Check;
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate;
- First Aid and CPR (Within 12 months) training.
