**About the role**

The Junior Design Team Member has the key responsibility of providing administrative assistance to the Design Team and utilising their skills and knowledge to provide Customer Service to both internal departments and Customers. From here, there is opportunity to progress which will require you to work closely with project supervisory and engineering staff to ensure that the project is delivered in accordance with the quality, time, production, safety and environmental objectives of the company and the project.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**

You will need excellent attention to detail and ideally have some previous construction industry experience either in a site based or office based role.

The main responsibilities of the role are as follows:

- Assess and action Help Desk enquiries, provide the first level of technical assistance, including where possible; problem solving, determining work arounds and possible fixes
- Where appropriate, escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support, but always assuming responsibility for tracking and driving customer enquiries to a resolution.
- Logging software errors with programming and following up for status updates to ensure effect communication with internal departments and franchises.
- Provide administrative support to the Design manager with building construction issues and compliance for council and certification
- Engage and maintain work relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Act as initial point of contact for queries for Steelx jobs on behalf of the design team
- This position may require national and international travel from time to time

**Skills and experience**
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of steel buildings, their components preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Friendly, courteous and professional manner
- Ability to work in a team environment and fit in with company culture and processes
- Ability to operate professionally in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communicational skills
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills

**What we provide**

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year + Super

**Requirement**
Ability to commute/relocate: Robina, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
Work Authorisation: Australia (required)

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
