**Position overview**

The Postdoctoral / Research Fellows will work on NHMRC Investigator Grant and/or industry funded projects in the laboratory of Prof. David Tscharke, in the Department of Immunology and Infectious Diseases at the John Curtin School of Medical Research. Possible projects can include use of unique in vivo models, CRISPR/Cas9 editing of viral genomes, TCR receptor sequencing, ribosome profiling and in vitro and in vivo models of antigen presentation.

We seek applicants with a PhD and have postdoctoral experience in immunology, cell biology or virology who have evidence of their curiosity, initiative and productivity. We especially welcome applicants with experience with some or all of the following:

- Analysis of RNAseq, TCR sequence or similar data
- In vivo models of infection and immunity
- Making and working with recombinant viruses

The Division of Immunology and Infectious Diseases at the John Curtin School brings together 11 groups across these disciplines creating a critical mass that is supported by multiple cross-divisional activities including a seminar, journal club and informal lab meeting style presentations that run each week.
