Pet Blow Moulding Technician

**Position: PET Blow Moulding Technician**

**DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Performing machine start-up and shut downs
- Prepare, install, set and run blow moulding
- Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient & correct execution
- Able to process, operate, troubleshoot and monitor all stretch blow moulding machines in department including auxiliary equipment.
- Competent in mould changes and understand insert changes
- Propose and participate maintenance for manufacturing equipment used for production processes to assure uninterrupted & optimal operations
- Optimising machine parameters for production runs
- Execute & continuously improve troubleshooting & preventative maintenance services
- Propose and participate in repairs & rebuilds for spare parts
- Mentor & guide more junior staff to grow their skills
- Fast response time to breakdowns
- Comply with all OH&S regulations and Workplace policies

**CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS**:
A minimum of two years of experience as technician working for injection or stretch blow moulding manufacturing operations
- Expert-level knowledge of any of the following: Husky, Sidel, Krones or similar blow moulding equipment
- Expert hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical knowledge, troubleshooting, fault finding and problem solving skills
- Hands-on proven capability and knowledge of process
- Strong desire to be a member of a high-performing team
- Excellent understanding of polymer materials
- Experience with engineering polymers
- Passion for excellence and continuous improvement
- Strong eye for detail
- Self-motivation and initiative
- Ability to work unsupervised or under limited supervision
- Be physically fit to cope with manual handling
- Forklift license is essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:
