**The opportunity**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Dispensary Technician** **to join us in delivering comprehensive quality pharmacy services onsite at Epic Pharmacy at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital in Chermside. This role is a 6-month full-time contracted position. As stated above, we’re willing to consider a flexible 8 day, or 9 day fortnight.

Working with our supportive and collaborative team, you will provide vital pharmacy services to our customers and patients, ensuring that all pharmacy activities are completed to a high standard while supporting the patients’ medication needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Dispense and supply medications, pharmacy products and OTC products
- Inventory control and management
- Process orders
- Process sales transactions and assist with account queries
- Ensure patients receive the correct medication
- Support patients, carers, clinic staff, hospital staff and associated employees
- Learn to mix cancer therapies using a closed-system safety device

**About You**:

- Be committed to providing patient-centred pharmacy services
- Have experience dispensing medication in an Australian based pharmacy
- Be able to address client needs with confidentiality, sensitivity, and professionalism
- Have a high attention to detail
- The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Preferred Requirements:_
- Minimum 2 years of dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
- training will be provided for this specialty practice.
- Dispensary Technician Certificate or equivalent as recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia
