Casual Childcare Educator

Are you an experienced Certificate III or Diploma qualified Educator looking to join a phenomenal team of exceptional, qualified Early Childhood professionals and be supported and encouraged to excel and further develop your Early Childhood career?

Veronica Street Children's Centre is seeking a friendly, caring, and enthusiastic qualified child care professional to join our team for a casual/part-time position. (Hours ranging from 1 day to 5 days)

You will be working in all rooms - Baby/ toddlers /kinders covering lunch breaks, planning, educator absences/sick leave.

You need to be committed to working in a team to provide high-quality care for children and will be responsible for day to day care, safety, and supervision of the children as well as to contribute to implementing stimulating, child-based programs and developmentally appropriate programs with other experienced educators.

- Extensive knowledge of EYLF and NQS and a commitment to excellence in early childhood to provide high-quality care and education.
- Deliver quality education programs and daily routines including intentional teaching and spontaneous experiences that meet the needs and interests of each child
- The development and implementation of the program planned for the children in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Good leadership skills can support, encourage, and motivate other educators to continue striving for their own goals.

**We are looking for**:

- Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care / ACECQA approved equivalent
- We may consider applicants studying towards an ACECQA approved qualification
- Employee VIC WWCC
- Preferably have current first aid, CPR, asthma, and anaphylaxis certificate
- Passionate educators with strong communication skills;
- Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to work in new teams.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
