Advance your career with a leading civil contracting company, contributing to Civil Construction projects across Infrastructure, Subdivisions, Community Projects, and Roadworks.
Reporting to the Senior WHS Advisor, you will work hand-in-hand with the Project Site Teams, delivering impactful health and safety outcomes on various Civil Construction Projects.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conducting site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with WHS policies and procedures
- Contribute to maintaining, recommending and implementing continuous improvements of WHSE programs
- Provide guidance and continuous feedback to employees on safe working procedures
- Establish collaborative and supportive relationships to achieve effective safety outcomes
- Support and facilitate incident investigation processes
**About you**
As an experienced Safety professional, you'll demonstrate:
- Proven experience in WHS and delivering health and safety outcomes on civil projects
- Certificate IV in OHS
- Solid understanding of relevant legislation, regulation and industry best practices
- Knowledge of Government training polices and Indigenous Procurement
- Demonstrated ability to plan and schedule Safety Programs
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook,Word
- Ability to lead WHS communications in small groups
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop good rapport with people at all levels
- Hold a current Drivers licence with reliable transport
