**The Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Demonstrate, understand and comply with the need for strict confidentiality concerning any patient details**:

- Demonstrate a courteous and respectful manner in all interactions with patients, their relatives and visitors to the Department**:

- Assembling and labelling correctly all patient documentation in a timely manner**:

- Photocopy Sandringham ED paperwork for inclusion in Monash Women’s at Sandringham histories as required**:

- Obtain relevant medical histories from other hospitals**:

- Restock stationery levels throughout the department**:

- Answer switchboard phone and disseminate calls to appropriate areas**

**Skills and Experience Required**
- Excellent clerical, typing and computer skills
- Adequate command of English both written and oral
- Basic understanding of medical and hospital terminology
- Demonstrate success in customer service skills
- Understanding and compliant with policies and procedures
