Cyber Security Analyst

We are looking for a talented and motivated "**Cyber Security Analyst" **who has experience with security alert monitoring, security incident response and system risk management. The successful applicant will be tasked with the following duties:

**About the Role**
- Monitor company systems, infrastructure, and alerts to identify and detect possible cyber security threats
- Investigate and respond to security threats in a timely matter
- Investigate non-compliant systems, recommend remediation steps, and support remediation activities
- Provide accurate information, data, and reporting to Cyber Security Architect
- Assist in maintaining and updating relevant security documentation such as security policies, procedures and controls.
- Maintain knowledge of IT systems security and software security protocols
- Implement and monitor preventative, detective and responsive security controls to improve the security posture

**About you**
- 2-3 years in a Cyber Security Analyst role
- Extensive knowledge in technologies such as
- Microsoft Azure Sentinel, Security Centre
- Microsoft Cloud App Security
- Microsoft 365 Defender, DLP, Compliance Manager, Information Protection
- Windows and Linux operating systems.

Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
