**Warehouse Operative**

**What you will enjoy doing**
- Receive inbound stock and put away in designated location for store stock
- Use SAP software to manage all material movements in the system
- Contact BOC staff member responsible for order (if not store stock) to advise of arrival of goods to site
- Load/Unloading responsibility for Main Store Area, Homecare, CES, Site Projects teams and other items as requested by line manager
- Visit Retail Store area and Gatehouse to pick up small parcels daily
- Re-stock the site PPE Vending Machine (weekly or upon request)
- Goods Issuing - Issue stock to internal customers only when provided with a Work Order Number or Cost Centre. No issuing of goods without this information unless authorised by line manager
- Store run to pick up maintenance / production items from local shops
- Pick MRP (interbranch) orders and dispatch daily (TNT or Border Express)
- Host unfamiliar delivery drivers (including sign in/out) to store for delivery then to exit gate for safe exit from site. Remote gate activation where permitted
- Waste management and general housekeeping duties
**What makes you great**
- A demonstrated commitment to work safely
- You must have excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work unsupervised and cooperate with BOC staff and contractors
- You should hold a current Forklift Licence and EWP ticket
- Experience with inventory management computer programs such as SAP (preferable) or similar
