Cash Room Processor

We have an opportunity for a full time cash room processor. We are seeking a professional individual with a great work ethic to become an essential member of our team. The role will consist of 38 hours per week to assist with our cash room operations. The rostered hours are between 6am and 4pm Mondays and 7am to 3pm Tuesday to Friday. Remuneration accruals holiday pay and sick pay.

**Key responsibilities will be**:

- Ensuring the accurate and secure processing of large volumes of currency movements.
- Data entry using several integrated software programs.
- Client order processing and fulfilling.
- The efficient use of specialty equipment used for the purpose of carrying out daily tasks.
- Maintain accurate cash processing records and verification to ensure balancing.
- Adhere to strict security and operational procedures and rules.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Computer proficiency including knowledge of excel data input.
- Capable to acquire concepts and processes competently.
- Strong job ownership, you are a highly self-motivated and thrive working in a stimulating environment.
- Excellent prioritizing and time management skills.
- Mathematical, literacy, and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service.
- Possess a natural tendency for attention to detail.
- A high level of fitness, as repetitive manual handling is involved.

Immediate start with full training provided, however previous experience in cash handling and a financial background would be an advantage. Applicants will be assessed on their previous employment history and capability to perform the role. Flexibility with availability for shifts will be an advantage.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a per-employment Criminal History Check process.

Pay: $31.19 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
