- Located in Miranda, Pathways Miranda offers community-based support to people experiencing problematic alcohol and other drugs use across the Sutherland Shire.
- Our service provides:

- Comprehensive assessment, individualised treatment/recovery plans and case management
- Holistic treatment service that focus on physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing, individualised 1-1 sessions, facilitated groups and living skills training
- Active referral to a range of primary health and community services
- As a Case Worker you will provide effective service delivery, ensuring case management, assessment and referral, education and support are provided in accordance with TSA guidelines (within a comprehensive participant-led, recovery-based framework).
- This is a permanent f-time position, based in Maroubra, NSW.
- The role you could play
- Provide efficient day to day service delivery through education, interventions, group work, assessment, referral and case work within a recovery-orientated and person-led service environment.
- To develop and monitor individual treatment plans and maintain case management documentation, records, reports and data collection, utilising established case planning procedures.
- Develop, implement and monitor case plans, including exit planning in line with service requirements.
- Deliver education and support groups in line with service requirements.
- Supervise the self-administration of medication as required and record as per TSA and centre policy and procedure.
- What you will bring
- Minimum of Diploma level qualification in a relevant discipline (AOD, Community Services, Case Management)
- Completed 4 AOD Skill Set Units (or willing to undertake/complete during employment)
- Demonstrated ability to deal with unpredictable situations and behaviours utilising de-escalation techniques
- At least two years’ experience in recovery, if applicable
- Knowledge of AOD/gambling, community services and health sectors (preferably in a residential treatment setting).
- Demonstrated experience and ability to work with those impacted by substance abuse, gambling and mental health conditions
- Current Drivers licence
- Current NSW Working With Children Check
- A willingness to undergo a National Police C
