The Role

Based in Canberra, you will take a leading role in driving services sales across Oracle’ On-Premise and Cloud (SaaS, PaaS and IaaS) portfolio. You will collaborate with creative minds and high calibre technical experts to provide exceptional solutions and services that help customers transform their business and achieve their goals. You will be a dynamic and responsive individual that is an out-of-the-box thinker and thrives on new challenges.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and grow a sales opportunity pipeline
- Accurately forecast and close opportunities in line with targets
- Manage and lead sales and bid process
- Develop account plans based on understanding of growth opportunities across Federal government
- Develop and maintain relationships with C-level, key business owners, decision makers and influencers
- Be an ambassador for Oracle ACS and become a trusted advisor to customer
- Excel at all areas of business development and sales, i.e. communication, presentations, proposal writing and strategic selling
- Maintain an understanding of Oracle ACS direction, product set and services
- Create compelling value propositions that are aligned with Federal Government priorities
- Negotiate contracts, liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with other Oracle lines of business

**_Preferred Qualifications:_**:

- Ability to successfully lead and execute the full sales cycle on complex IT services and outsourcing deals
- Track record of sales target overachievement
- Experience in both leading and coordinating deal pursuit teams
- Experience in successful joint selling with both internal and external partner organisations
- Strong territory management skills
- Established Federal government networks
- Strong background and working knowledge of the Federal government ecosystem, functions, business processes and engagement framework
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong C-level and senior executive relationships
- Public sector experience and a successful track record of solution selling
- Working knowledge of service level agreements
- Familiarity with market-leading SaaS, PaaS and IaaS Players as well as ERP, CRM and EPM software solutions
- Bachelor or Masters degree, or equivalent experience
- Hold an AGSVA security clearance or be an Australian Citizen with eligibility to obtain an AGSVA security clearance
