Temporary Teacher

**Position Descriptor**:
Balaklava HS is situated in the heart of the Wakefield Plains about 100 kilometres north of Adelaide and provides high quality secondary education for students in Years 7-12. This position requires the ability to provide innovative and engaging teaching through to Year 12 in Science. The school has had an excellent reputation for their Science programs and we are looking for the right individual to further develop this. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute positively to the site in a collaborative team environment, supporting site priorities and programs, including restorative practices, trauma informed practices and positive behaviour for learning. Developing effective relationships is at the core of teaching; the ability to do this while maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement is vital. A strong work ethic and high level of personal organisation are essential to the role.
