The Opportunity

Cochlear has an opportunity for a full time Goods Inwards Inspector based in our Macquarie, Sydney office. In this role, the successful Goods Inwards Inspector will perform inspections according to quality schedules, accept / reject product according to specifications to meet QMS requirements.

Responsibilities include:

- Return reject goods to supplier as per MMKt disposition procedures.
- Contribute ideas on systems and process methods to improve deliverables.
- Ensure product identification, storage, and handling in accordance with company requirements/processes.
- Perform Virtual Oracle transactions of items direct shipped to suppliers.
- Follow relevant quality procedures to deliver quality products and services and identify and support the implementation of continuous improvement.
- Maintain accuracy in transactions carried out daily.

About You

To add value to Cochlear in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience.
- Administrative experience
- Experience in the use of measuring Equipment (Metric, callipers, micrometer)
- Interpretation and Understanding of Technical Drawings (for metrology)
- Good understanding of Quality requirements & Processes
- Attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Good understanding of Windows based programs, intermediate level PC skills essential

Ideal:

- Experience in use of CLTD Oracle Environment
- Experience in use of CLTD COBIS Environment
- Intermediate level in use of MS Excel & Word
