The Newpin (New Parent and Infant Network) program involves parents and their children regularly attending a centre-based program for up to 18 months to engage in a range of activities that promote wellbeing, improve parenting capacity and support the development of positive family relationships.

This role will be based at our **Morphett Vale** site

**About the Role**

The Early Childhood Specialist
- Attachment Coach is an exciting role within the Newpin team, with a core focus on;
- Facilitating and supervising therapeutic play between parents and children, and
- Coaching parents to build healthy attachments with their children.

Within the **Newpin **team, this role is the specialist in early childhood development, so there is also a focus on working collaboratively within the team so that all team members are working from a child-centered, developmentally informed position.

**About You**
- You will have demonstrated experience working with parents with young children, as well as:_
- Qualifications in early childhood development
- Skills in coaching and building attachment
- Experience in working within a strengths-based, therapeutic environment
- Knowledge of trauma and how it impacts parents and children.
