**About the Role**

The Throughcare Coordinator manages a case load of inmates, with a range of requirements and interventions that are aimed at reducing their risk of reoffending. This role provides reintegration assistance and applies case and behavioural management methods and demonstrates culturally sensitive practices and attitudes in actively engaging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander inmates.

The role will require you to work with a participant while they are an inmate at Parklea Correctional Centre and work with them as they reintegrate into the community.

**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role you will:

- Demonstrated previous experience of working with challenging or vulnerable populations at a similar level.
- Knowledge and experience in case management and reintegration related practices.
- Knowledge and understanding of best practice principles in offender rehabilitation, including the Risk Needs Responsivity model.
- Sound Microsoft Office skills including knowledge/experience with Excel.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, including those at risk of suicide and self-harm.
- The ability to obtain and maintain an AFP check.
